We travelled from Birmingham and visited The Hammer and Pincers on a way home. The staff was very helpful and immediately made a table available for us. The food was very delicious and came shortly after was ordered. Great customer service,we will return if in the area next.
Fantastic venue if your celebrating.... Lovely staff and the food was amazing (hot shot parmo) I was camping here so used the pub with family and friends, definitely will return 👍🏻
We stayed here for one night whilst on our way to a vw show in Northumberland, great pitches especially for our van being German and great location for the A1. The food was absolutely delicious! Worth the money and would definitely go back! Only issue was toilets and showers, but we only had the one night and everything else was fab! Thank you!
We stayed at the campsite last night , check in was quick, a young polite girl showed us to a pitch, her Grandad Henry ( I think, that's his name) came over to answer some of our questions about storage and seasonal pitches, he is a lovely bloke , he chatted and told us some of the plans for the site. The facilities ( toilets, showers and washing up area) were all spotlessly clean. We ate in the pub and sat in The garden , the staff were lovely as was the garden and the food was beautiful. There was a function on at night we could hear the music but it definitely did not keep us awake or bother us in any way . This site has a good old fashioned relaxed feel to it, we would definitely recommend and return.
Epiccccc venue! I have the absolute pleasure of capturing a wedding here in the summer and it was iconic. The venue is fantastic and creates the bestttttt vibes. Party central!
Beautiful food and staff really lovely as well. Would definitely return again.
Had a fabulous Sunday lunch there with the family. The food was fantastic, we all loved the roasts. Enormous Yorkshire puds, lashings of gravy served in a gravy boat, lovely fresh veg medley also served separately which allowed everyone to eat the things they like best.
